NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) Waste Classification Guidelines, Part 1: Classifying Waste (2009);

Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2005 ; General Exemption Under Part 6, Clause 51 and 51A - Excavated Natural Material Exemption (2012) ; and

Scheduled Chemical Waste Control Order (1994).

These guidelines also refer to the requirements of the Waste Minimisation and Management Act 1995 and the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.
